MBSLP understands that you may have questions on a case-by-case basis. Sometimes you may need help “talking through” a situation involving how to handle a bilingual case. We welcome your phone calls and emails, and would be happy to consult and provide recommendations on an individual basis.
We are also aware of how important it is to communicate with the families of children in your district. When families speak a language other than English, many barriers can arise. We can facilitate communication with families in their native language. This may include: scheduling of IEP meetings, explaining the evaluation and special education process, interpreting during meetings, etc. Please contact us if we can assist you.
