MPSLP was very helpful to throughout the evaluation. The MPSLP speech pathologist was prompt in answering questions as we arranged the evaluation and was equally prompt in holding our IEP meeting. MBSLP has proven to be invaluable to all of my school districts for their assessments of bilingual children. In addition, I much appreciate the professional development opportunities offered by the team. In October of this school year, I attended the presentation featuring an MBSLP consultant at CESA #1. She focused on the process in which we, as speech/language pathologists, can differentiate between language differences and language disorders for students with non-English speaking backgrounds. Her presentation was well organized and gave us useful tools and strategies for this population, including recommendations for assessment and therapy. I would be delighted to attend other in-service opportunities offered by this team. Overall I feel this group is an asset to the Milwaukee area and I highly recommend them to my colleagues.
